Prior to venturing into real estate, Shantel worked extensively in retail sales and customer service. She possesses excellent interpersonal, sales, marketing, and problem-solving skills, which are essential to the industry. She leverages her acquired skills and industry experience to help buyers find dream homes within their budgets and effectively market sellers’ properties for top dollar. Having purchased her first home using her husband’s VA loan benefit, Shantel seeks to draw on this experience to educate and guide her clients, particularly military families, to make their homeownership dreams come true.
Originally from Lynchburg, VA, Shantel specializes in serving Northwest Georgia, with a focus on Gwinnett, Barrow, Clarke, Walton, and Rockdale counties. She is intimately familiar with the local market and is uniquely qualified to offer valuable market information and unique insights, empowering her clients to make well-informed decisions. With a passion for photography, Shantel uses her visual design, attention to detail, and photography skills to help sellers showcase a home’s best features to attract potential buyers and ensure a quick sale. With a knack for results, she was recognized with the AAAR Circle of Achievement in 2021 for closing over a million dollars in sales volume.
To effectively deal with the diverse needs of her clients, Shantel is continuously expanding her knowledge to stay at the top of the industry. She holds the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and At Home with Diversity® (AHWD) certifications. Shantel served as a Membership Director of VAREP in 2020, a Co-Program Director in 2022, and is currently the President-Elect in 2023 for the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, Athens. She was a board member of the Agent Leadership Council in 2021 & Social Equity Chair in 2022.
